Nova vs. Mister Sinister

you know i've been thinking about this one and still don't know. if it's sam i'd take sinister for sure. but rich? i think i'm leaning toward nova. maybe?

Would be interesting to see what Sinister has up his sleeve.

yeah i think it's a great battle. sinister is typically at his best when he has some prep. in a straight up battle? he's got so many powers sometimes it's hard to keep track. i keep going back and forth. nova's helmet isn't 100% against tp, but it's really effective so i think that would be off the table for sinister.

yeah that's a pretty bad a$$ scene. i was gonna ask where it was from. noverine seemed less adept at using the force than rich was but who needs it wit da clawzz! lol

Depends how powerful those Knull-lite symbiotes were, I guess.

As for this thread... Sinister has changed powersets so many times (and starting well before the Krakoa gene-Batman hijinks). I don't think he even had TP starting around his resurrection and new personality as of the Gillen era.

I think Rich clearly wins against any individual Sinister, up until all the Enigma stuff. I think Gillen era Sinister could win.... but only with one sided prep.

I got the feeling he's like Batman in that he has the right gear at any one time, if the writer wanted it, prep be damned. I did like his Dazzler chip that he used against Loki though.

Yeah, in those scans it might not have been prep. But in the pre-Krakoa stuff, Gillen had him prepping to the gills.

yeah he's sort of a tool the writer's use...as needed. it's always made him hard to peg. the classic--goblyn queen--era sinister probably wins imo. and there are a couple other versions that would make it interesting.

Those scans are during the Krakoan age. And even post-Krakoa, Mister Sinister is pulling stuff out his butt right now in the X-Men: Heir to Apocalypse limited series going on now.
