Bane has always been more than a physical brute too, though.

DS wins because of his gear (armor, sword, gadgets, etc). But it is a good fight.

What armour does DS use these days? Is it still the Ikon suit?

yeah i dunno. he's loaded feats without the armor though. i was intending no armor. ds has a skill edge, a speed edge, he's smarter and has weapons. i think he can put bane down. maybe.
