Thats kind of where I was leaning, he just has the aura of being more overtly powerful ready for an encounter. Though, something could be said with John as basically the ultimate con-man, whos a master at playing to ego, as well as being pretty damn powerful.

yeah doom takes it more often than not in a random encounter. be a really fun battle to see played out for the dialogue alone lol

Constantine has a good shot at taking Doom even In random encounter. His on the fly spells can do serious harm. In a prep battle, John all the way. But Doom makes him work for it.
