this was surprisingly good.

^ Didnt quite like how he was the main baddy. Would have preferred a redeemable quality to him, which to be fair they kinda hinted at, in the sense that he could have pirated At-Attin easily if he just killed the kids and their parents. But still he was a fun character and would have liked the kids redeeming him into a not so bad pirate.

Still enjoyable adventure series regardless. Most sense of adventure/fun Ive seen from Star Wars since the first season of Rebels.

The kids were fine in TPM. It was Jar Jar who made parts of the film too kiddish.

I believe Lucas draft for Episode 7 had young kids but Disney threw them out because they were all paranoid about a repeat of TPM. They instead thought a complete rehash of the OT would make a much better ST facepalm

I personally think kids were the way to go for the sequels. I mean its not like Lucas was directing them.

A Harry Potter style Jedi Academy story/adventure where Luke is the Dumbledore would have been epic Imo. Even if it ended up being slightly kiddish for me, I would have appreciated them going forward and expanding the Universe that way.

I’m pretty positive Nawood will be redeemed in Season 2. He is clearly a good guy who’s doing some bad things because he’s been through a lot.

And yeah don’t make me think about the wasted potential of the sequel trilogy. It still baffles me how a person paid millions of dollars to write an original story couldn’t come up with anything more than a copy-paste of the OT. Hell if you have no imagination just copy from the comics, have the Yuzangh Vong attack the galaxy, just don’t **** up all the rebels have done in the OT by having the empire back again a couple of decades later…

^ Because it was stupidly aimed at 40year old fans of the OT who hated the PT. When it should have IMO just been a new trilogy for a new generation, not specifically for OT or PT fans (they were both going to give the ST a shot regardless).

Agreed on Nawood. Just would have liked more of a bond between him and the kids in S1.

One more EP to go, very solid series. Glad it didn't Boba Fett itself.

I wonder who killed Nawoods master? If it was an Inquisitor or Stormtroopers/Clone Troopers they would have certainly killed him as well I'm thinking.

I think it was the Inquisitors. He said they tortured her, it's a sick thing only inquisitors would do. And yeah, since he was force sensitive they would most likely have taken him in to fortress Inquisitorius to be experimented on like the other kids. So, either they believed he was just a random kid and they enjoyed making him watch her die and then let him go, or he managed to run away

Either that or Stormtroopers mistook him for a random kid. Not a Padawan/Jedi youngling.

Well if they made him watch I'm assuming they knew they were connected somehow and that it would effect him. Sounds like something pirates would do honestly.

Hmm that would explain how he ends up if he was adopted by Pirates, but not sure why Pirates would be interested in Jedi (The Empire put out a "dead or alive" on all Jedi maybe?).

^I think that was the case. Wasn't it stated in Cal's videogames that there are bounties on the Jedi?

^ Dont remember but makes sense.
