Yeah, I am curious about the charges. Was it actual acts or attempted, was it family or someone outside his family he groomed.
I told my wife, she said there's private people who do nothing but catfish pedos and then turn them in to the police when they show up for the supposed sex. Could be that's how he got caught.

I visited the link, and the post to which Bashar Teg was replying was from September 2, 2014. So he had a credible allegation of child molestation five years before his wife divorced him. Child Protective Services may not have removed his stepdaughter after that interview, but I bet his ex-wife started watching him more closely after that.
