Karate Kid: Legends

stars Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio, both reprising their roles from previous films

to be released on May 30, 2025

Will it be karate or kung fu?

Kar-Fu.

Ralph Macchio was a given, but him and Jackie Chan together is certainly interesting. Wonder how much mentions or nods (if any) there'll be to the Cobra Kai show. Am sure it'll be something to enjoy regardless.

should be karate or perhaps a combo of both

also im thinking it will take care a shprt time after Cobra Kai ends

Yeah I’m looking forward to this.

I’ve never not enjoyed a Karate Kid movie/related project.

Really? Even the third one? I've Only seen the first season of ck, but that one was pretty good.

Even the fourth one!
I did always feel the third one should’ve been the second installment, canonically.

The show like the movies are good cheesy fun.
It's a world where karate’s the most important thing in the world, and it’s awesome.

I know Ralph Macchio wasn't a fan of the direction of the 3rd Karate Kid at the time, But it seems like over time he's warmed up to it.

^^^I did too, TBH.
It took a couple of viewings!

I love Cobra Kai since season one, but it's been on a downward slope since season one. This sounds like a money-grab banking on the show's popularity, so will probably blow chunks.

FunFact: Chan is only 8 years older than Macchhio. The orphan blood Macchio drinks is really working

^^^Yeah, they say orphans are a dime a dozen.

It’s the processing fee that really hits the old wallet though.

But that's Kung Fu...

It looks so divorced from ck...oh please not another multiverse

It's just a cash grab banking on the name like the 2010 film did, it got me in the theater with my kids. This one is baking on the success of the TV show.

where's chozen? they wrote him in as the keeper of House Miyagi, so shouldn't he be involved? one too many asians?

Film takes part in China, there's like a billion+ Asians there. They didn't want to over-Asian the film.

I can't tell if you're joking sometimes
