As a left leaning guy, I watch Canada's Conservative party with wary suspicion. Yet politically, they are practically on the same spectrum as America's Democrats. Which speaks volumes about how far right American Conservatives have gone...

But, we are also a nation with three Federal leftist parties - Liberal Party (center left), New Democratic Party (Further left) and the Green Party (extreme left) And we tolerate a French Separatist party (Bloc Quebecois) dedicated to Quebec independence in Federal politics. Other nations would have exiled them as traitors, I'm sure.

So yeah, Canada can be TOO nice for it's own good sometimes...
