Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ Good characters. What do you think of the action? Overall worth watching.

This show is literally the best sci fi show of all time and Fiege is insane to not have it canon with the MCU, although ๐Ÿ˜‚ I understand his reasoning because by the end of the series, the team are essentially Avengers-level heroes themselves. Grant Ward is the second most badass character of all time behind the GOAT Jack "The Hacksaw" Bauer

Had some really fun seasons. But I found the characters lacking.

But yeah seems like the MCU ignored them even though they would reference the MCU every 5 minutes.

I found it amazing how this show managed to literally cover every sci-fi genre imaginable in such an efficient runtime. Mutants, aliens, time travel to the past and future, robot takeovers, robot-created reality simulations, and physical and metaphysically magical monsters and demons. Other shows like Doctor Who and Legends of Tomorrow have tried, but this show was IMO the best at encapsulating the entire sci-fi genre in a sleek and cool way, and that's not even mentioning it's James Bond-esque espionage thriller intrigue. This show was like the ultimate merge of James Bond, Indiana Jones, and Johnny Quest and every character was the best in the world at what they did. Phil and Mac were the ultimate team leaders, Quake was the ultimate do-gooder superhero and hacker, Fitzsimmons were the ultimate scientists, and Ward was, as stated, the ultimate badass, and that's not including other characters like Bobby and Lance. Again, I honestly think this is the undisputed best sci-fi show of all time and the second-best superhero show of all time behind Legion. Also, like I said, I can kind of see why Feige wanted to keep this show separate from the MCU, because the SHIELD team has taken on every threat level imaginable and might outclass some of the Avengers in terms of aptitude.

^ Yes they did cover a load of different sci-fi genres.

I seriously doubt Feige's issue was the their competence/power levels. It was more to do with him not overseeing the Tv series at that time to synch everything in together.

But hey they're bringing the Netflix stuff officially into the MCU, so could still happen for this as well. The AOS Ghost Rider would fit in well.
