Demi-God Perseus Vs Archangel Gabriel

Fight takes place in the Roman coliseum circa Gladiator (2000).

Perseus gets his god-forged sword, shield and armor, all his feats from the films CotT (2010) and WotT (2012) apply. Gabriel gets his morning star and armor, all his feats from the film Legion (2010) apply.

Before the fight Perseus hugs his son and knows that if he loses, his son will die also. Gabriel hugs and kisses Micheal and knows that of he loses, his lover will die also. So both fighters are at full strength and resolve, no mercy.

Fight!

Ah, the sweet smell of butt hurt in the morning.....

Just wanted to get that out of the way before I end this debate. Besides, what's worse? Being gay, or being a child molester?

You f*cked up your YT link. You get the "An error occurred. Please try again later" message, nerd.

What a silly and mean spirited question. There's nothing inherently wrong with being gay. While child molestation is one of the worst acts. See: Dadudemon.

🤷‍♂️ It's been a while since I've used the kmc YouTube tags. Refresh me. Like this?

Hey, Perseus is the one kissing children. Just saying, dude. So, back to the durability debate. 9 mm bullets across the chest. RPG to the face. Archangel blades and stuff. Stop dodging and discuss.

Gabriel tended to use his wings as a shield, you see it in that silly spin move he does. When did he take an RPG to the face?

Gabriel was about to get chocked out by a human-form Michael, had to save himself from the KO via stabbing himself. So he's not immune to damage.

Gabriel might be more durable though, hard to say as Perseus takes beatings from full blown gods and mythical monsters. But Perseus is definitely the better fighter, he would end it by severing limbs and decapitation with his god-forged magical sword.

FFS, Gabriel never took an RPG to the face. He did, however, tank an exploding diner. He was literally inside the diner when it blew up. And it did nothing to him.

He was almost choked out by Michael, the strongest archangel. Wait, LOL you think Michael, after cutting his wings off, was as weak as a human? Nope. When he was getting the weapons at the beginning, after cutting off his wings, he literally broke that big ass chain off the cargo container with his bare hand. The reason he cut his wings off is so he could rebel. When he cut them off, did you notice the collar around his neck fell off? That was symbolism. Meaning he could choose not to obey God.

The RPG to the face was in reference to the rocket launcher that Michael had. I was questioning Perseus's durability. I was asking if you think Perseus could take a direct hit from that rocket launcher and survive. Or being strafed across the chest with sub machine gunfire and survive. I have asked these questions several times, you continue to dodge them. You're tap dancing and dodging at this point. Why won't you answer the questions?

You literally said above "9 mm bullets across the chest. RPG to the face" in regards to Gabriel.

Fair enough if Michael was still more than human, I accept that, but he was clearly much lesser than his full-angel self. Why Michael died from being stabbed and Gabriel didn't and easily owned Gabriel once he was fully restored.

Questioning whether Perseus could take an RPG is silly, considering his opponent does not have one and Gabriel didn't take an RPG to the face as a comparison/contrast.

Gabriel isn't as skilled a fighter as Perseus and Perseus has the super-human strength, durability and a god-forged weapon powerful enough to kill him. Perseus fights and kills several super powered beings, giant scorpions, the Kraken, Medusa, Calibos, the Minotaur, a fire-breathing chimera, held off giants and killed the God of war Ares.

In this battle, Michael has all his weapons he had in his movie. That includes machine guns and rocket launchers. And his archangel blade. Did I mention the only way to kill an archangel is with an archangel blade wielded by another archangel? Perseus is no bullet dodger. Michael will definitely hit him many times with his machine gun. And his rocket launcher. And both those weapons will kill him quite quickly.

Hit an archangel with the same weapons? It does nothing to them.

So basically Perseus will dance around, get and a few hits, until the archangels get pissed off and go ham on them.

And you still haven't answered what would happen if Michael took a full clip of 9 mm submachine on fire to the chest.

Persues destroys

FFS... Micheal isn't in this battle... Michael is standing on the sidelines watching his companion and lover Gabriel fight Perseus. Read the thread title and stipulations.

Where do you get the "only way to kill an archangel is with an archangel blade wielded by another archangel"? Because it sounds like no limits fallacy you pulled from your anus. Perseus is a half-god and has a weapon forged by full gods, he's more than capable of harming Gabriel.

Going from what we've seen in the three films that is wrong. Perseus is the more skilled fighter and would chop and slice Gabriel apart. Gabriel fights like a brute, rushing in wild.

LOL I confused it with the Christian heroes thread. But is irrelevant.

Think about the entire movie legion. Name the one time that Gabriel was actually hurt. By hurt, I mean out of the fight and defeated. Go ahead, you already know the answer anyway.

And bro don't act like damage soak has no impact on a versus battle. That was literally your entire argument in Riggs vs McClane.

Gabriel is immune to any and all weapons of man. Perseus is not. Do the math.

Archangels like Michael could be shocked by electricity. Admittedly it's been a while since I watched Dominion.....

Was a good thing Perseus can't emit Force lighting, isn't it?

What about his lightning sword from his dad?

First of all, when was Michael shocked by electricity? Been awhile since I've seen legion. Also, when it happened, did he have his wings? Was he in full angelic form, like at the end?

It's from the TV show, Dominion

And that TV show has no bearing or impact on this matchup. We have to stick to the media that is mentioned. Those are the rules, I don't make them, I just adhere to them.

Indeed, forum rules do state other media is allowed, however. And the thread only says he has his feats from the movie, doesn't say other media is not allowed (assuming canon to the characters in question of course).

I'm just pointing out that in the Legion verse, archangels are not immune to any and all weapons of man. We can wait for the OP to clarify.

The opening post from the author plainly states from the movie legion. Therefore we only are allowed to use feats from that movie.

Dude, Gabriel was inside the diner when Dennis Quaid blew it up. It literally did not even faze him. And when he was fighting michael, he literally ran himself through with his mace to stab michael, and it didn't even faze him again. But LOL sure, a little electricity will do the trick.

He can still clarify if needed. I can wait. In the TV show Dominion (the sequel to Legion) electricity worked, I'd need to refresh my memory on it though.
