Decided not to finish the last 1/3 of the trailer.

Why am I getting deja vu from this trailer? I feel like there was a film quite recently with an almost identical premise but it was a house or apartment instead of a car.

Wasn't that the film with Willem Dafoe?

"Inside" was Willem Dafoe getting trapped in a house or apartment that he was trying to burglarize. It wasn't a great movie, sadly.

There was a movie within the last year or so, where Liam Neeson was locked in his car by some omnipresent lunatic, like this movie. For the life of me, I can’t remember what it’s called, though.

Must be because it's a remake of this (same writer credited)
