Okay, so I've often said that I don't think Paul WS Anderson is a terrible director unless he's also the sole writer. So MAYBE this won't be terrible?

From the trailer, hm.. I dunno. Some fun visuals, but honestly doesn't look *good* exactly.

looks like a film from the 2000's where they're experimenting with CG backgrounds.

Looks like some Mad Max/Priest kinda mash-up. I enjoyed both of those. This will probably be terrible but I will still enjoy it because I have a soft spot for garbage post-apocalypse movies.

Mila hasn't had a good movie where she's a lead since the Fifth Element (1997), arguably The Messenger: TSOJOR (1999). So yeah, this is going to suck dirty asses.

The Resident Evil films which Milla stared in, "Only" the first one was good and then those went to ass

alot of the time it felt like she had god mod turned on.

^ I didn't even really think the first one was that good. Mainly because of Paul Anderson's writing. RE: Apocalypse was always kind of a guilty pleasure.. heh.

Nah guys, Fifth Element (1995), last really good thing she did where she was the lead or a lead actor.

While The Messenger (1999) isn't great, it's a guilty pleasure of mine.

Her husband needs to stay away from making game to movie adaptations for a while.

Or just stay away from the camera all together?

I enjoyed Event Horizon and Soldier and even AVP somewhat, but that's 20+ years ago.

GRRM's 76, he's loaded from the HBO money, WoW will never come out. Even if it does, we'll never get the following 1-2 other books he's said he needs to finish the story.

Honestly, even if WoW came out tomorrow, I don't think I'd read it. Been too long, fck you George.

That's true. It would be very hard to make it worse than that. I remember watching that one probably 20 something year ago with friends and we thought it was hilarious.
