Yukon man faces 40 years for alleged child sex abuseEL RENO – A Yukon man faces up to 40 years in prison after a Yukon Police investigation into child sexual abuse that allegedly occurred over four years.
Dominic Antonio Gargone, age 41, was charged Feb. 27 in Canadian County District Court with two counts of lewd or indecent acts to a child under 16.
The defendant “knowingly and intentionally” felt the body and private parts of the victim in a “lewd or lascivious manner” between July 2015 and July 2019 when the victim was between 8 and 12 years old, according to the charging document signed by Assistant District Attorney Eric Epplin.
The juvenile female disclosed the alleged sexual assaults last fall during a forensic interview conducted in Tulsa, according to an arrest warrant affidavit signed by a Yukon police investigator.
The victim never told anyone what had occurred until recently because she was scared what Gargone would do to her, the court-filed affidavit reads. -snip
