More Ventress and a Cad Bane story.

Didnt know more of these were coming. But I like them so all good.

I think it’s an annual thing. Glad to see some more Ventress action. Hope Vos would pop up too but I guess they’ll do something else with him

^ Cool (about it being every year). Ive given up waiting for Vos though ! At this point, better not to wait so they just take us by surprise one day.

according to an insider at Star Wars Celebration both Quinlan Vos and the Path will be featured in this series

More details (spoilers ahead):

“A full episode of TALES OF THE UNDERWORLD was shown exclusively to the crowd at Star Wars Celebration Japan.

The episode picks up right after DARK DISCIPLE and explains how Ventress lives. The episode then skips several years and focuses on Ventress as she protects a young Order 66 survivor from a terrifying new Inquisitor. The young Jedi mentions The Path and that it was started by Quinlan Vos.

The episode was incredible to say the least. Stunning animation. So emotional in depicting Ventress and her love for Vos”

Makes sense Vos was the one who created the Path, he had many connections with the underworld

Oh cool. Only a week away so will wait and see instead of reading spoilers.

He could show up in the announced Maul series as well. I mean I'm guessing Maul fights someone at some stage in it.

I've watched the leaked trailer of the Maul series. Maul is shown fighting Marrok and a Jedi, but it doesn't look like Quinlan or someone we know. More like an alien jedi. I hope they get to fight as it would be an equal duel

^ Cool. I guess Baylan is another possibility. Filoni likes to link his projects (although Im not sure the Maul one is his..)

Nope Filoni didn’t direct or write this Maul series

^ Oh so Maul might actually win a fight 👆

Cant be arsed opening another thread for this:

Sam Witwer interview:

https://youtu.be/S0j2kxLv7RM?si=5e6DPN7FKShaDVbE

At 2:20 - Hes raised with the express purpose to destroy Jedi Knights and during the Clone Wars he did. He killed a lot more Jedi during the Clone Wars than we are aware of. We hinted that he was in a spree with Savage Opress but that went further than people think. So that was what he was born and raised to do. That was his sworn enemy and now theyre gone.

Just thought thats cool about him killing a load of Jedi, hopefully we see flashbacks or something.

Also looks like he will have a Twilek apprentice. He will presumably be building up Crimson Dawn. Between this and Tales of the Underworld I do like how the animation is giving us more and more villain stories.

Loved the Dooku one in Tales of the Jedi.

The apprentice will be Darth Talon, from the Extended Universe. Originally, in George Lucas’ mind, Maul and Talon should have been the main villains of a sequel trilogy. The idea was dropped. They’re re using the concept of Maul and Talin though.

Hope we get to see Maul face some Jedi during the clone wars in some future comic

^ Oh of course. I should have guessed that! Not actually seen the trailer, just going by Witwer's words.

And yeah heard about that for the ST.

According to a leaker:
“ The leak that had the maul show in it said the next mainline show is Hidden Path with Ventress and Quinlan Vos but that the Clone rebellion stuff will be mixed in that plot apparently.

If it is to be believed the Maul show is only a miniseries and Path one is like Bad Batch”

So Asajj's resurrection was unsurprisingly hamfisted, to say the least. One of Quinlan's tears + a random magical wishing well + the power of love = immortality, apparently? Cool. 👆

Another new Inquisitor introduced, only to be killed within minutes... Though this one did seem pretty powerful(was throttling Asajj until the kid merc'd him from behind.) But still...

Zero resolution with the Asajj/Vos thing yet again, lol. Vos was only shown in a flashback. Shit is so annoying... Guy hasn't had a proper story in like a decade, even though he has one of the best post-RotS plots out there. 👇

I think the Assajj Arc is meant more like an introduction to the Path series that’s been rumoured, with Vos and Ventress as protagonists.

Oh that's what it is for sure.

I was just hoping to see Vos in more than a 30 second flashback, is all. ermm

God the animation in this just keeps getting better!
