It didn't make him Superman levels. Also, Slade during the onset of the fight before he was hit by anything blocked a blitz from Superman and then gained the first hit. Slade also thought he could win. Was that shown to be true?

Yes, because the sword matches whatever is thrown at it, and doubles it. So yeah, Superman trying to blitz him would......be blocked.

And are you suggesting it DOESN'T amp him, despite the words and despite the feats shown? Are you saying that unamped base Deathstroke is durable enough to take getting pinballed around the island by WW (with GoW amp), fast enough to react to blitzes from Superman, and strong enough to draw blood from Superman?

Oh, it does amp him. Thats pretty obvious. Just not enough to say he's far above his teammates or above them at all. Especially considering a non-amped DS temp dropped Superman with a couple of hits.

It couldn't have because Superman blitzed him at the end. Someone who's speed is double the other should NOT be capable of being too fast for the person who's faster. 1+1=2.

Non amped DS DID temp drop Superman. Its right there on panel. Don't debate me on this. Reach out to the writer who wrote that. He's not above everyone on his team.

Because of dynamic power levels, Carv. Superman went in for the blitz, got tagged, went in harder (as per the text), then went in even faster when he was tired of playing around, and was then too fast.
