A very good marketing stunt brought in bucks besides Blair witch as no special effects and a cast that was not famouse.
Not to mention that it sucks big time!Stupidest movie ever made!
I hope it is better than the first.........I liked the first but agree that it could have been better.
It probably will be Nemesis.......based on the fact that the last thing we see in the first movie is about the Nemesis project.......
$50 million isn't exactly a small budget.........it's actually a pretty healthy budget...........there aren't any mega-stars in the movie announced so far so they don't have to pay alot..........remember that the Matrix was made for $75 million and they had to pay good sums of money to Keanu Reeves and Larry Fishburn + have all the effects......most movies have much smaller budgets........the only movies that get mega budgets are those who are believed to be Blockbusters (Star Wars, Titanic, Spider Man, Matrix Sequels, etc.).....and ofcourse Hulk which backfired........you know that they still havn't made their money back on that film.......I bet somebody lost a job over that movie.
Resident Evil Apocalypse
Hey if u guys know the videogame series Resident Evil or the movie, well the second one is starting filming in nine days. I like the first one but this is going 2 be much better then the first, if u did not like it.It will based on the events of RE 2 & 3 I know this is really old news but just wanted 2 bring it up. okay im gona give you guys some news about it Story:1.The monster from the third game, Nemesis, makes his horrific debut alongside Alice, Matt, Jill Valentine and Claire Redfield in a "side story set within the game's universe", according to the director. 2.Bruised, bloodied and disoriented is how we left Alice in the final moments of “Resident Evil.” Emerging from an Umbrella Corporation research lab into an apocalyptic Raccoon City, Alice surveys the tattered vision before her, where the walking zombies known as the Undead have taken over. As the camera rises to fully show the devastation, Alice picks up a shotgun and prepares to fight evil yet again. Where the first ends, the second installment begins, as “Resident Evil: Apocalypse” readies for production.3.New characters that will be joining Jovovich and Mabius include a trio of characters from the “Resident Evil” videogames upon which the films are based. The character of Addison, who was himself infected with the virus that causes humans to develop into zombies, becomes the villain of the sequel.4.Characters for the sequel include:
Jill Valentine: In her 20s, Valentine is a cop, but the casting notes indicating that ”her striking looks might make you forget what a top-class police officer she is.” Currently on suspension, the raven-haired Valentine is one of the few cops with experience in dealing with the Undead, and she comes back to work uninvited when Raccoon City is overrun. *sigh* naturally it will be better, and since the character alice was an original character by JW Anderson, I would hope she and jill wouldnt meet (since a meeting was never documented). However it would be interesting to see what happens if they do meet.
For R.E.2 Im more concerned about the cast, because the originals supporting cast was kind of shitty. Milla was the only good actress there. Everyone elses acting was like school play quality (even home movie for that matter). So I hope they look at peoples acting talent this time around before hiring them. Not to mention we could use some new media on this subject. 😛
