Yeah it has been said a lot of times that he auditioned for Faramir. He wasn't actually chosen though he just auditioned and then they said he could be Legolas coz they had David Wenham (Daisy lol) for Faramir. PLus Orlando DOES have a beard in one thing lol in Ned Kelly of course and it's gorgeous 😉 Yeah man!

About Orlando, did PJ not say they were going to give him the part of Faramir when they found they could find no one for Legolas?

In short, he was almost chosen and contracted for Faramir, he was already considered, but they were having some reservations since they haven't got anyone for Legolas yet and they just later realized that Orlando is more suitable for Legolas than Faramir so they gave him the part and gave Faramir to Daisy (David). 🙂
Anyway, no regrets here. I'm a very big fan of Faramir and I thought David was perfect for the part though the character was quite changed. As for Orlando, even though most of you in this thread will say that he's hot, I still can't see him to be Faramir. 🙂
And LOL..I also heard that one of Orlando's reasons for auditioning for Faramir is that so he could have a kissing scene and and a lover in the end. 😆
It WOULD be kinda cool to see him play faramir though even though I think Daisy is perfect for the role too, PLUS Faramir is my favourite character he's so cool and lovely 😍! We would have to see Orlando kinda cry too 🙁 awwwwwww. But David seems better, also the fact that he's older makes him more like how can I explain this - I can't lol. But more like rugged if ya know what I mean even though faramir ain't really rugged 😐 ok I'll shut up now haha
i really really hope that this post gets on pg 100!
