Then it's better to prepare now. 😉 Read at your own risk:Spoiler:..but I'm not sure if you know what I'm talking about so I'll just shut up. 🙂
Paris will eventually be killed by Philoctetes with Heracles' bow (yeah..Legolas..I mean Paris getting killed by a bow..though it only fits him since he also killed one of my heroes)I'm not sure though if they'll include it in the movie since Paris' death occurs post-Iliad. It wasn't inside the book's context and main storyline. If we'll compare it to the LOTR books, his death was in the "appendices" per se.
I'm just kinda sad that the Gods and the Demi-Gods weren't involve in this story as they should have been. NOTE: I'm not mad...I'm not angered...I understand the change...I'm just sad and disappointed, and I can't help it.
And..Orlando and Brad are gonna have sex scenes. No..not together you filthy-minded twits..j/k 😛 Orlando with Dianne and Brad with that girl that I don't recognize..I'm just saying so the Orli fangirls wouldn't die in the theater. 😄
So, there are no gods or goddesses involved in this film. This film will be just like Gladiator, with more sex.
😄
ok just read ur post.....😠!!!!
no gods or goddesses!!!!are they insane😠
i'm angered and outraged....how on earth can you not have them in the story!'
thats what i was looking forward to!!!!no no no no!!NO
not fair....at all
thats like taking gandalf out of LOTR
like takingJesus out of the passion
like taking obi wan out of star wars!!!!!
I don't know what this movie is but it is def NOT troy!!!
ok it is but its not like the book!!!1
ok i'll just wait for the movie before i die of a nervous brakedown
AHHHH!!!!
Relax!!! 😛
I know the Gods and Godesses were MAJOR part of the story...they were almost the ones who influenced the Trojan War and everything that happened in the Iliad, they were the main motivations, influences, etc. of the characters and I was disappointed when I heard that they weren't involved.
If I was to compare it to Middle-earth, they were like the Valar in The Silmarillion, especially in the first chapters. They were involved and all that.
HOWEVER, I heard that the movie was going more in the historical side, not in the legendary and mythological side, they focused the movie on Helen and Paris' affair being the cause of war, and they haven't got the first-hand communication with the Gods.
I kinda think that I could understand the change.
Remember smod, this is a movie, not the book. 😉
Sounds familiar? 😉
