I've always really liked Legolas from the Tolkien Art done by John Howe and Alan Lee, when I saw that Orlando Bloom was going to be casted for Legolas I just thought 'hmmm this might work' because for all we know Legolas could be dark haired and so that's what Orlando has. Then I saw the pics with fair hair I was like 'WOW!'

Peter Jackson's great...but yes Orlando Bloom did an excellent job at playing Legolas right, though I have to say that the whole cast or LotR is excellent! Well...except for the guy who played Celeborn...he was kinda 'zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz'
