legolas' riding in the two towers

did anyone else totally get blown away by legolas' half-second horse flip thingy in the two towers??

kinda, but i already had a good idea of what a good rider he was from the book, so it wasnt shocking

it was cool, but looked a little fake.

Like his jump onto the Troll in FOTR. It is in that sort of area the LOTR special effects have not QUITE got it right.

Yes I do agrre it was cool but kinda fake looking. But hey it rocked listening to all the girls giggling (we are physco) lol

It looked fake because it is something that WE couldn't do. Doesn't mean an Elf can't do it. But the thing is, how would we now what it looked like for someone to do that as I am sure it is physically impossible.

I myself thought it looked amazing and everything in LOTR just fits and looks right in its environment.

yeah but there's only so much they can do seriously... half of the matrix reloaded looked like a video game so it's not uncommon

Yup, just in comparison to the rest it was lacking. As I have said elsewhere, that is an area where Star Wars is still King despite the several advances LOTR has made over it with characters like Gollum.

i think star wars should stick to the old school yoda puppet lol

anywayz the thing looked totaly fake and imo it was really over the top. they could have gotten him on the horse in another cool way that looked a bit more realistic even for an elf that is for the top imo

u are right-it did look a little computer enhanced,but it was still cool.come on fire,dont be so hard on Legolas

I'm not hard on legolas I like him a lot
I like all the elves, they are imo the coolest of all races, but I think some ppl like them a bit too fast and for to futile a thing.

I just think all the stuff about "oooh legolas is so hot" and "hansome" and stuff is over the top

A) It's NOT legolas it's Orlando Bloom
B) Personaly I dont think he's anything special
C) I think an elf would just show a light smile when some 16 year old girl would walk up to him and scream: you're soo hot, I love ya.....
