Shmi survives Ep II and here's why:

I think we'll see something very dramtic, but the Padme/JarJar/Palpatine scene will be almost a prologue like the Luke/Leia scene in ESB aboard the medical frigate.

That's gonna suck. Here's Palpatine who looks really menacing, and you know he's up to no good, and here's Natalie Portman who's a great actress, but there's stupid Jar Jar just ruining it.

🙁 Well I hope the cliffhanger will be different then that. Palpatine will hopefully declare himself Emperor while Jar Jars watching Anakin marry Padme or something. I dont think thats so bad.😉
