i've read the book and i still don't like her.. don't think the movie's gonna change my perspective on her even if she only finished off the job that merry started

I mean..I like Saruman the character. He's evil, but I like the character. So even if you don't agree with Eowyn flirting with Aragorn she can still be a good character!

A)not EVERYONE dislikes eowyn and

I agree with you, i thought i was going to hate her when i first heard about her character, then i read the books and she's like one of my favorites... i hate denethor... this is going to sound horrible... but i was kinda glad what happened to him. he was so mean to faramir... that part made me mad!!!

lol wellllll billy is entitled to her opinon, but i guess its just a matter of how ppl view eoywn. like, i love the actress and eowyn in the movie, but i dunoo some ppl see her as sort of a homewrecker and i dont get that : /. hahah yes i love smeagoL!!! gollums a nasty lil shit (<---prolly bleeped that out : x)..lol but yea i wish there was a way to separate them so smeagol could repent...i feel so bad for him!!! *cry*

I'd have to say Denethor.

Although I know he's grieving, etc. and [in my opinion] pretty messed up in the head, some of the things he says to Faramir are awful.

For example, he claims that he couldn't care less if Faramir died in battle and that he is no where near as special as Boromir was! [Or words to that effect!]

He's a meanie, even if a very kool meanie created by Tolkien! 😄

My least favorite is Saruman I guess. I just think he's dumb. I don't know why everyone hates Eowyn. I mean, she's not my favorite but she's not that bad. Just because she has feelings for Aragorn doesn't mean anything would happen between them. The ultimate decision would be his. Therefore it would be HIS fault if he didn't end up with Arwen.

yeah i read ttt at the start of the year and i can't remember anything of Arwen! I really really dont like Legolas (SORRY ALL U ORLI FANS!!!) but he really pisses me off.....my friend is TOTALLY obsessed...she'd kill anyone who said they liked him...i dunno...i think that im just sick of heard in about him! 😛 My favcharacter was definitely Pippin and Aragorn.
