You have a point...dude...I started a new thread and I could have done it here, I'll tell Kes. Anywho...new topic... well for it is...I saw the new Ep of X-men Evo, I hope the new character X-23 is featured in the future X-men movies...I NEED PIX OF HER NOW!!! I know it's to soon, but...grrr...I'm obsessed with this character, was she in the comics, or just something thought up by the show?
I know that char. Her names Avery Conner, and she's from a 3-part mini series done by Greg Ruka and Yoshitaka Amano called "The Redeemer". It also features Elektra and Wolverine. I've got the second book, but it doesn't say in there weather or not she has the Metal Skeleton like they showed her having in the cartoon. Anyroad, if in doubt, I can scan some pages from it and post them on my gallery.
I still do not like this show. There are too many "Comic Characters in their Youth" shows. Smallville (IMO) is the only successful one.
It is a good idea to do this, but it ruined too many characters. Nightcrawler is supposed to be deep and religious... Scott is supposed to be determined and a man of action.
The whole concept is just irritating.
Avery really is a young girl in the story I have. But you're right, It isn't my favorite show ever. I'm still waiting for them to find a way to explain when and how Rogue starts being able to fly. (And I'll be VERY pissed if she never gets that power in the show) Also, I find the way they drew Gambit for that series to be a travesty v.v *nodnod* That goatee is annoying.
Have they started a new season of X-Men Evolution?
I wish they had made Storm young too. That kind of messes things up, cause Storm has always been around the same age group as the other X-Men and then they make X-Men Evolution to show them young and all of them become young except Storm and Wolverine, what's up with that, things don't add up.
eh, not much you can do though. I kind of like Storm in the older role, as kind of a mother to everyone. ^.^ And Wolvie, well..I don't think they're allowed to change his age, cause if they did, it would just mess everything up aboiut him. They'd have to literally rewrite his entire character if they wanted to make him younger.
X-Men Evolution rocks. And BOPRecruit 16 is right it's a remake (or updated) version of the original comic. The only charector I can't figure in any ones are Bezerker and X23. The rest where all in the old comics and original series and shows. X-Men Evolution more relates to teen problem only with powers to give it more excitmeant.
