well the movie you are probrably talking about is the one that came out more than a decade ago. It's animated and it really gorry.Not to many people have seen this movie, but from what I here it's really good.I never heard of a real life dbz movie.
you know what this is going to end up going down in history as one of the most fallen movies mainly because of what blissbo said. The people who are making this movie are going to spend so much money on the actors that they won't be able to focus on the story.And another thing, of all companies why in the hell did they let Fox do it. I promise there had better be at least one DBZ fan working on this movie.Some of the greatest movies of all time are the best because they had someone who loved the story work on them.The perfect example is lord of the rings. NOw I've seen the making of this movie and only a die hard fan of the Tolkien books could pull off what the director did, and they did a great great job . They filmed for 2 years straight and still had a lot of enthusiasm about movie;that's what this movie needs they just can't have a retard who hasn't even seen one dragonballz episode do this movie . I can only hope that this movie doesn't fail.And they need not concentrate on special effects too hard until later movies or otherwise it will look terrible. It will take them a while to do crazy stuff like superspeed flying and huge energy blast because they cost way too much. But they still have a very good chance at doing hyper fighting because in the first matrix Agent Smith did machine gun punches on Neo in the subway and do you see how easy it was to make dodging bullets realistic they could do they same for dodging punches. then later on in Matrix 3 they were to fly at high speed while having amazing collision scenes like they do in DBZ.I don't think we have anything to worry about on the special effects. But above all they need to focus on the story.
they have already made one a whiiiiiiile back in japan... i've seen it... very comical and goofy... i don't really remember all the details but i know he had the stick and the cloud... if you have seen the japanese version of street fighter the movie, it kinda looks like that... very cheesy... should've came in a blue box...
