my question is.... why does everyone in the matrix have to wear sunglasses all the time??apart from looking cool, what significance is the shades

They look cool!

it isnt any need to wear sunglasses. they just do it because its cool. and they´re not always wearing sunglasses. they spent the half first movie without sunglasses.

yep. just to look bad-ass. they're vision is fine.
