It's however understandable to, during the time of X-men, beleive it was supposed to be a Colossus cameo, well it could still be ment to have been him actually. We don't know what kind of ulterior thoughts the moviemakers had. We didn't know whether Pete would be used or if he would be like his comic counterpart, the movies did have many changes. And the fact that kid's an artist, was the only indicator we had. Seriously U do wanna find as many cameos as possible, so u might go a bit overboard as well. I and ppl I know imagine we saw Quicksilver (running on water), Magma, Blob (as a kid 😛 😮 ), sunspot etc.
