They recast them because beforehand they were crappy cameos... they became slightly longer crappy cameos... maybe we'll see the same jubilee (she got some screen time in x2), but the others were just one scene wonders...

i've never heard that gambit will be played by a star..where did u hear this? from what i've heard they would cast a relative unkown for the part...in X2 they apparently shot a gambit cameo with a stunt actor though i forgot his name at the moment
