Cecilia Reyes is latina? I think Shohreh Aghdashloo should be fine, she was nominated for a Oscar for her role in House of Sand and Fog. She doesn't look that much like her comic counterpart, but I don't think that will matter that much as it's a small role and she'll likely be able to play it convincingly. She has a doctorish look to her.

Hollywood North Report has learned that Shawn Ashmore (aka Bobby Drake/Iceman) has arrived in Vancouver to reprise his role in X-Men 3.
Meanwhile, IGN Filmforce backs their source, saying that Shohreh Aghdashloo made a mistake when telling Entertainment Weekly what character she's playing. The site claims it is indeed Dr. Kavita Rao and not Dr. Cecilia Reyes.
In that same article IGN also talks about yet another new character:
In other X3 news, IGN has learned that the cast of X3 will feature yet another appearance by a supporting character from the Marvel comics. That addition is none other than Jamie Madrox, a.k.a. Multiple Man. The role has not yet been cast, though"

Maybe they are making 2 movies and not telling us. How will they fit all these characters in one movie. angel, dark phoenix juggernaut. from what i understand is that if you use juggernaut you need Colossus, if you use angel you need to tell a bit of his past, dark phoenix is a really big story.

When the Phoenix is out to play, the military will be there in her way? Ron Blecker has joined the X3 crew as a military advisor! After calling in with the company Def Con 5 Incorporated, XMF has learned that Blecker will be advising a "large group of military extras in how to use firearms, and other military tactics for a major scene in the film." Blecker also worked in X2, but only as an a technical advisor. We're being advised that his work in X3 is for something "major". We pushed for more quotes, but no further comments could be obtained at this time.
