Phoenix is supposed to have a big showdown with Storm in the end, and if Storm is going to be able to hang with Phoenix then I'm geussing they'll have to weaken Phoenix's powers a bit.

thats what you want or thats what it will happen? if theres a showdown between them, Phoenix should win easily...
i dont know why but in my first post here i said Rogue could help against phoenix, and i still think so...ok Rogue is too weak, but they can always make some justice and put her to a better level of power in this movie, just to make Phoenix weaker by absorbing her...

Maybe they will all each contribute in the battle. They as in the whole x-gang. (Wolverine, Iceman, Storm, Rogue etc..)

I think it would make no sense to tone down the phoenix. if they do that it's stupid!!

I know but how are the X-men supposed to fight Phoenix if she can destroy them so easily?

Maybe they're making her emotionally unstable, so she doesn't know the full extent of her powers yet?

she sure will be emotionally unstable, but i dont think it should influence on the extent of her power...she should be almighty, but simple details could turn her personality from good to bad and vice-versa...

Well I'm 90% sure she has a battle with Storm at the final battle of X3.

In fact (Don't wuote meon this) but I think every X-men has a counterpart that they fight in X3 at the end. Iceman against Pyro, etc...

i hope so...

But Pyro's a good guy... oh, that's why Magneto spent so much time with him in X2, seducing him!
