I don't know if any body has asked this before....Why it has to be 16 females and 7 males? Any idea?

I think it has to do with more with genetic diversity. Perhaps that's why the majority of everyone in Zion is minority (wha!??!). Because they are working with a somewhat limited gene pool.

all i no is there are a little above two women per man so all the men got it made :-D
