Which Console Do You Own/Is The Best?

DUde what are you saying? I'll name some of the best ps and ps2 games. GT series, midnightclub series, need for speed series(also on pc), Acecombat, MX2002 and Superfly, cool boarders 3(being the best, on ps), crash bandicoot series, ssx and ssx tricky, jet moto series...there are tons more great ones

Obviously this is just my opinion. I love these games, and so do a lot of other people.

A) Zelda games are not RPG's.
B) The GC has a VASTLY smaller percentage of RPG's than ps2.

well here is my idea
the game cube mostly has crappy kiddie games (okie some are good but mario and all the other nintendo crap is pathetic once you reach age 10)
the Xbox looks like a great console and it might very well be but I won't ever buy it for 2 reasons:
1- it's microsoft, sooner or later they will find a huge problem with it (after all they brought us like 12 edition of windows and the thing still sucks ass)
2- it's microsoft, I will not sponsor the damn unfriendly bastards if I don't have too

so that leaves me with just one option the PS2. with which I am very happy, can't wait to see what the PS3 is gonna be like

yeah and the fact that the games suck help that decision aswell, and as for GC cant you all just stop with all the stupid kiddy bullshit and grow up.

Why do gameenthusiasts, reviewers, journalists, most people who grew up gaming before the playstation; all agree that mario and zelda are among the absolute best game series, and that nintendo is THE most recognized developer in teh world? You've probably not played these games, only looked at them.

Um... probably because Mario was the first real adventure video game, and Zelda is the longest established video game series, and Nintendo IS the most recognized developer in the world. Sorry bud, but if you say video game developer, the first thing most people think of is Nintendo or Atari.

And remember, when Nintendo came out with their first working system, Sony was still making BetaMax audio tapes, and Microsoft didn't even have Windows.

okie I'll adapt my statement one lil' bit, there is ONE good KIND of Mario games namely Mario Kart (that game rox agreed) but all the others IMO suck ass as does the game cube for that reason

Em..no, this kind of ignorance actually pisses me off. Most serious gaming friends I have greatly respects and enjoy the Nintendo games. It's the same on gaming communities worldwide and on the net. Check out a multi-platform message board.
The Zelda series is sheer brilliance, and that's a fact. The Mario-series is the best platformer out, MEtroid is the best action-adventure; with the brilliant new chapter Metroid Prime. Through the years NIntendo have made great RPG's like Earthbound, sports games like 1080 snowboarding and Tennis, racing like Wave Race, Mario Kart, THE ALLMIGHTY F-ZERO; FOREFATHER OF FUTURISTIC RACING, weird new concepts like Pikming and Animal Crossing, and the list goes on. When Atari crashed the entire gaming industry, Nintendo revived it and was responsible for its rebirth through the NES.

How can you even try to say that only 10-year olds can like those games when indeed people of all ages, hardcore gamers, hail them as the best? Get a grip.

i think GC is a good system with fun games, but not even dropping 5 hits of acid would make there graphics the best, GC is the bottom of the barrel for best graphics
