only 50 now........I used to collect them. At one time I had 120+ ICP cds.......aswell as 5 vinyls (which were rare), 6 Dog Beats tapes and a slew of other useless stuff. I sold most of it on Ebay or www.psychopathictraders.com a little over a year ago. Got a little over 4k in less than a month selling it.
Don't feel too bad about only having 7 cds.........you must remember, I've been listening to them for just over 10 years.........ofcourse I'm going to have alot more stuff in 10 years than you would have in a shorter period of time.
Actually........most go for alot more than $12.
They are collectors items............
When the Chicken Huntin single came out 8 years ago.......hardly any were made on cd. ICP was still local to us Michigan people........nobody else had ever heard of them. This made them rare. When I decided to sell my Chicken Huntin cd and Chicken Huntin promo cd, each went for over $70................................ICP has die hard fans who want every song that has been made. Do you want to own the song Fabulous on CD, studio quality? If so you should have been listening to them 8 years ago as it is only on the Chicken Huntin 6 track single. Never put on any other recording. How about the song Ask You Somethin? If you want it you'd better own the original Forgotten Freshness that came out in '95.....................ofcourse it was only a local Michigan release so most people didn't even know it existed untill the masses started jumping on the bandwagon after the whole Hollywood Great Milenko deal went down. That is why their stuff is worth so much.........if there were only 500 of a cd made and they have millions of fans, ofcourse it's going to be worth alot because most people will never have the chance to own it.
It actually isn't a rip off..........I got all of my cds for under $12.......alot for free as they used to give them away to promote the band (singles/promos)..............if you wanted them cheap, you should have been listening to them 7-10 years ago when you could easily get them as nobody else wanted them, because they were unknown.
Whoa, and I return to the forums posting agian... at least for this post
ICP still aren't a hugely popular group, by nowadays most people at least know who they are. I just went and got me a Wraith tattoo about a month ago and plan on gettin the other five within the next few years (due to financial reasons it'll take that long).
Anybody else branded juggalo... or juggalette?
shock rock? It's hard to be shocking when you've done the same exact gimmick for the past 12 years. Hell, Marilyn Manson isn't even shocking rock anymore and he started years after ICP did. They are basically riding out their formula of comedy/horror untill they hang it up........they found their niche and their fanbase so now only work to please them. They tried become famous.......they couldn't so now they are just keeping the fans they already have happy. They make more money from their merchandise than they do their music. It's not too bad only having 1 million fans if each of those fans are going to spend ungodly amounts of money every year on jerseys, tshirts, shorts, cds,cd cases, posters, comics, condom cases (yes...you heard me right),and the rest of the garbage they sell on hatchetgear.
