I get along pretty good with the Adobe version......it's great.

Well I never liked the Adobe® version the layers. Although if I want to mod a picture like add an effect to it I wouldn't use anythingelse other than Adobe® Photo Shop because the layers.

photoshop is full of stuff i've never heard of... it came with something called image ready... when i try to do something i get something about rastering or something... maybe is was made in jamacia... maybe i need the instruction manual?

I learned it by trying every button what it does and then I start searching the net for tutorials.you can do amezing things with it..

no..you have to rasterize the layer before doing some of the modiffications on it.
Image ready's kewl. You can make small animations and it's great for making web graphic thinggies.

You know almost every photo shop has a tutorial. But I always recomend using buttons you know or get to know one well and most aren't that different.

i'm starting to get the hang of photoshop... but what type for file do you save it as... which one do any of yous guys find better

save it .psd for a later evaluation(it allows you to modify later the layers and stuff,but it's big) and jpg for internet upload.Keep a psd version always because it's the only format that you can modify the layers later,keeps the format of u're pic(layers,effects,everything)

well..i always merge the layers visible at the end. Some things can only be done like that. So then the psd version is still one layer....but others may not. I keep the .psd also.
