Ditto. I used Image Ready and photoshop.

I should switch over I have been using Ulead PS for such a long time I forgot about all of the other attributes that me Adobe PS had

the image ready will animate your thingy.... how... just a basic overview if you could please....

haven't used it in a while in a few days I will give you one unless one of the fine Jents want to help you.

I only used photoshop. and i didn't know much about it. So im proud of myself. 😄

And so you should be Celsius! I used an ancient program - Ulead IPhoto 4

yeah i know a bit more all the time... i really don't have the time to dissect the program... or read any manuals... so its all on the fly. but photoshop does have some neat features... now if i was just more steady with a mouse....

mneah.....if i had bryce 4 here with me i'd have made the handle and the background in the sig myself also.

download it..

Well I've just downloaded Ulead PI 8 (at a fraction of the price of the Adobe software!) and will hopefully be able to realise my ideas better once I've got to grips with it!

My Contest Signature Background. This will give everyone a crash course in Image Ready (if they want it).

Matrix Rain: Using Image ready and Photoshop

1. In Adobe Photoshop, Make a new picture, Image size 800 by 600 and in the contents choose white
2. Go to filter, texture, then grain. Choose vertical and set contrast and intensity to 100.
3. Go to filters, Artistic, Neon Glow. Set Size to 5, brightness to 20, Color to Green (for the Matrix)
4. Now for better look try Filter, Stylize, Diffuse, and choose lighten only.
5. If you want (I choose to leave this out of my sig. picture) you can go Filters, Stylize, Glowing Edges, and set the edge width to 1, the brightness to 7, and the smoothness to 1.

That should finish the back ground. Now we animate.

1. Have the background that you just developed open (in Photoshop) and press the jump to Image Ready button on the bottom of the toolbar.
2. On the Animation Bar (if you do not see the animation toolbar, go to Window and Animation) and select the Duplicate button. Now you have 2 frames.
3. Now go to the window located (normally) in the bottom right corner and Right click on top of Background and select Layer Options. Uncheck the Lock Transparency and Position box. Select OK. Background should now change into Layer 0.
4. Now select the black arrow (the move tool) at the top of the toolbar. Click and hold on top of the matrix background and drag the layer down 150 pixels (1/4). It doesn’t need to be exact. However, the farther you move the layer the faster the animation will move.
5. Now click select, load selection, and click Layer 0 Transparency.
6. Hit Image then Crop
7. Press the Tween button on the animation toolbar (the one with the purple dots going up) Set the Frames to 12 (more is smoother but size increases), choose all layers and all the parameters should be checked. Click OK. Now you have many frames.
8. Now go to file, save optimized. Save the file as a GIF under any name you like and you should have a pretty cool animation.

This is how I did the background (I resized it in Photoshop) after that I just edited pics and text then placed them as new layers then blended them.

I thought some of you might like to know.
