Hikari blushed " sorry , i mean u miss them ?"

Shinhikari with Altar standing over them.

"Very much but I can deal. I mean my whole life I've been...Never mind." Tela stated before totaly put a boundary around her heart. "I have to break up with Esgal." she whispered hoping Hikari didn't hear her.

Hikari's eyes widen " what .. y , i thought u 2 were hitting it off"

"I do love him but he could be in trouble because of my past. I'm just glad Altar doesn't know about it." Tela said. She looked really hurt.

Hikari frowned and put an arm around her " hey , its ok " she smiled , trying to cheer up Tela

Darrien was playing with a cat he found " good kitty"

"I know. I just can't risk Altar finding out and then going after Esgal or Cal." Tela said.

Hikari used her other hand to rub her fingers around her locket which she didn't know where she got it from , he mentor told her it was the only thing from her orginal family

Darrien came in carrying the kitten

Tela looked at Hikari. "I use be hired to kill people." Tela stated. "I still do but I haven't had a client in years."

Hikari was surprised to hear that " y did u do things like that "

Darrien came and sat next to them while petting the kitten

"Hikari, It's the only way me and my brother could make money doing something that we were good at. Our tribe were well-known for being hunters not only of animals nut other races too." Tela said.

"i didn't know u have a brother " Hikari said , she noticed it was almost morning

Darrien played with the kitten , then the kitten jumped onto Tela's lap

Tela looked at Hikari. "YEa, I don't know where he's at or if he's even alive. I lost contact with him fifty years ago when a spell was cast on both of us." She said petting the kitten.

"oh, i'm sorry " Hikari looked down

Aoi was in a barn waiting for the others when they are ready to head for Hikari's house where she was raised

"It's alright. I'll see him again." Tela said putting the cat down. "I'm just letting you know that no one can change their past unless they mess up their future. Have you heard any news of Altar causing trouble yet?"

Hikari shook her head " no , but i'm glade " Hikari looked at the clock " in a hour we will leave "

Tela nodded. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you before but I have to break off any inexpandable attachments I have or they'll end up dead."

"That's what happen to my brother. He was captured and used against me. The wizard gave us a second chance. But the consequences are heavy. The wizard said the next time I would see my brother. I would be a slave to a very powerful and evil person and he would actually work for the evil being on his free will and be the one to capture me." Tela said. She looked at her feet.

Hikari frowned " is there a way i could help"
