Final Fantasy XI: The Fantasy World

Darrien eyes widen " hey u , let him go" Darrien flipped out of the window and landed infront of the figure

The figure put his hand over cal's eyes before muttering a spell. He then shoved Cal towards Darien and smirked. Cal fell to the ground. He groaned in pain before getting up. His eyes were green and had no pupils.

Darrien eyes turned red " what have u done to him"

THe figured laughed. "Took what I wanted." it said. "And there is one more elfling I will take what I want from."

"u will not " Darrien hands light up and he charged at the figure

The figure moved to the side letting Darien run into a tree. He laughed. "I'll give you a clue. You're friend here had a crush on a woman but she broke his heart. The man she broke his heart for is the target." he said before disappearing in a red smoky poof.

Darrien slowly got up "what does that supposed to mean " Darrien then looked at Cal and ran to him " Cal..... " he held him in his arms

Cal groaned trying to lift his head. "My chest hurts." He said trying to get Darien to let him stand up.

Darrien help him stand up " what has he done to u"

"I don't have time to explain it. What was the riddle." he asked duxtong his leggings and the back of his tunic.

"he said you're friend here had a crush on a woman but she broke his heart. The man she broke his heart for is the target."

Cal growled. "Esgal's the target." he looked at Darien. "We have to get to him before that thing does."

Darrien nodded , held out one hand since the other was busy helping Cal stand up , Darrien chanted the spell to open a portal

Cal slowly walked through the portal. Seeing Esgal he frowned. "Esgal you have to..." he was interrupted by being thrown into the wall by an invisable force. Esgal tried to to run over and help but was stopped by an invisible hand clasping the back of his collar.

Darrien didn't know what was going on " show yourself "

Esgal could feel the spell being cast. He punched blindly at the no visible figure. THe figure fell to the ground cursing under his breathe as red liquid fell from the hood of his black cloak.

Shinhikari shifted.

"ok , could someone tell me whats going on here "
