i just wanted to say somthing about you guys belittling Sars and mad cow disease , yeah maybe Mad cow seems overexaggerated now but thats because uits been possible to find the source and contain it, Sars wasnt over eaxxagerated , they barley knew anything about the virus excpet people were dieng from it. after they learned more about it and that it was a treatable virus if contained soon people started to understand that its not as threatning as it was said to be, but when you know about a virus somthing, its good to warn the public so they can try and stay safe, im sure if you were in an area that was being plauged by deaths of Sars youd show a little more respect, i mean its killed over 200 people world wide, thats 200 people thats devastating
✅ Well said, Remorse.
I have nothing but respect for the families here in Toronto that lost family members to the horrible desease. The precautions they took were quite necessary as well, especially in the hospitals. About two or three months ago, when cases were decreasing, a doctor from Toronto General made his way to Sick Kids and spread the disease there to other patients without even realising he had it himself. 🙄
Ragesremorse, peoole have called both SARS and Mad Cows as possible global killers. This was RIDICULOUS for such relatively trifling diseases and caused totally unnecessary panic and economic hardship.
It is ESSENTIAL that people keep a sense of proportion with these things.
And no-one ever found a clear caused for CJD; still no proof that it comes from cows.
They were totally over-exaggereated and were belittled by experts in the field. Only the press talked them up and this was VERY poor journalism. They should be belittled as much as possible in the face of that, when compared to very REAL dangers that people do little about.
