Nope. Coke represents Coca-Cola whilst Cola represents all sodas in general. The only exeption is in the south eastern US where coke also means all colas. It is rather cofusig Dexx but I hope this helps.

i like diet coke. cokes are so expensive now (3 dollars for a 12 pack) that i buy the off brand at kroger. its called big k, and it costs 3 dollars for a 24 pack.
