How will Padme DIE

who's saying Vader's nice? and it doesn't hurt the story. its just a interesting concept to look at what would of happened if he hadn't gone bad. Its the will of the Force. Destiny. If he hadn't gone bad, he Empire would more than likely have won because, as I said, the twins would have been killed along with the rest of the Jedi. And I don't remember the Rebellion scoring so many victories 'till Luke showed up, not to mention Leia's leadership wouldn't be there. It doesn't excuse what he did, its just look at what would happen if he hadn't. Obviously Anakin didn't even know that in the long run his going bad inadvertantly saved the galaxy. It was just a lucky accident for the galaxy. Just a little Keanu "whoa" moment is all. I still feel bad for Anakin, I can relate to his reasoning, but I don't remotely condone his actions as Darth Vader. But we never said his becoming Vader was a ploy to get in with Palpatine and do good in the long run. thats what makes Darkshadow's concept so interesting. that it was sort of a lucky accident.

i'm not saying that anakin didn't do anything wrong i'm just saying that if he didn't turn evil palpatine would anakin near him anakin would of have to fight an up hill battle and most likely lost and palpatine would of stayed alive and made things alot worse what i'm saying is that maybe it was his distany to turn. becuase it was the only way that he couold get palpatine.

I'll bet she fakes it so Vader and the Emperor dont come lookin.

It wouldn't serve any purpose to have Nute Gunray kill Padme. I think Palpatine will frame ObiWan to turn Anakins love of Obi to hate. In a New Hope when Vader kills Obi he shows hatred and even checks to make sure he's dead.
Padme will die, there is a funeral.

In ANH Leia keeps saying "my father" yet it was not Vader or Anakin and when she talks about her mother in ROTJ everyone thought she was talking about Padme. If Leia didn't know Vader (Anakin) was her father I think she never knew Padme was her mother.

I think Lucas made a boo boo. In ANH ObiWan says I have not heard that name since before you were born (he was talking about being called ObiWan Kenobi. Yet we are led to believe that he takes Luke away after the killing of the Jedi's. So wouldn't he be called ObiWan even after the birth of Luke?

She will over-act one line too many......

I've seen other movies with Nat. Her acting in the prequils seems very dry compared to her other work. Then again, maybe thats what GL wanted.

I'm sure she will be good in that as well as episode III. I still say she fakes her death to hide Leia and herself from vader.

Because of the dialog in ROTJ, i have to believe she lives, i like the idea of her faking her own death..i also believe that Padme has little to do with Anakin turning, he would have to had already turned by the time Padme is showing, when do women normally start showing? 4-5 months into? if he had not turned there would have been no reason to hide the twins.Maybe he turned, and to get away from him she faked her own death. maybe the movie ends with her having to give up Luke and go into hiding on Alderon with Leia...

I read that ther is a sceen with Anakin and Padme in her appartment and he has his shirt off. That would imply that he knows that she is with child(ren) because I am yet to see a 9 month preagnant woman that isnt showing in some way. Also I think that sceen would imply that the 2 of them have been close for at least a while and if she was preagnant why wouldnt she tell her husband? I am going with he knows and she fakes her death after he turns to make Vader and the Emperor believe there will be no future threats of Skywalker offspring.

Well, that's the big point that needs solving Lames. I was wondering, Lucas has never done this before, but would he consider making a jump in time storywise... That he lets time pass a bit after Anakin's fall and perhaps after Padme's possible hiding that she gets the kids? It's not really SW, but I dunno. I am really curious how Lucas is gonna solve this.
