Machine love!

If the machines were so hellbent on control and could grow humans, why not make them androgynous, or do they have to be of either gender to fit in with the systematic anomly plan?

And also if the humans are grown (cloned?) why isn't there like ten of the same people running around. In the Animatrix, the machines only saved a few humans, and basically cloned them. How is there any free will? If the humans have been grown for so long, how is the human even able to think for itself? That makes ya wonder doesn't it?

Ikobe> Cloning would lead to a problem in the Matrix. Your looks in the VR world mimic your looks in the real world (aka the ”mental projection of your digital self”). Why that is so, is probably just to keep the program easy to maintain.
