sometimes, i don't like the way things are drawn and colored in the anime. i prefer the art a bit more and i love the story more in the manga version.

Yeah. in YYHs case, it seems like the hands are drawn a little wierd. not saying im great at drawing hands *gotta be the hardest part* but they do look a little wierd. Hiei also looks a little shorter than usual in the manga.

sometimes the neck and arms are drawn funny, when seeing it from different angles. i prefer the manga because it's not all about fighting and has more personal drama as well.

hmm..yes, that is true. what i cant stand are anime series when nothing happens for like a whole episode and everything is REALLY slow.

It's FAR better to try to cram too much into a show than too little. .hack//sign is probably the worst anime I've ever seen, tied with Noir, simply because NOTHING HAPPENS. Entire episodes pass with nothing going on... everything is TERRIBLE. I'm watching for entertainment!! Whose idea was it to do NOTHING??? I feel like all of Blue Gender could be crammed into three episodes of a Foolie-Koolie paced show. EVERY popular anime is fast-paced. Or, at least, there's always someone talking or something HAPPENING. No random scenes after a five second dialogue where one of the characters looks at the floor for fifteen seconds, as if they only had the voice actors in there for about thirty seconds to film the entire show. Voices are easy! Voices are cheap! Use lots of 'em! They're your friend! There can be no show without dialogue! I mean, Trigun, Bebop, Outlaw Star, Family Guy, Simpsons, EVERY good animated show, no matter what kind of content it holds, has a lot of dialogue. Where do these guys get off on making stuff like Robin?

Foolie-Koolie... that's one I haven't heard mentioned here. By far the prettiest series I've ever seen. Even if it is an OVA. It's just beautiful, only surpassed by Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away.

FLCL has gotta be the fastest paced anim out there! Everyones running around, and the action sences are awesome! haruko is the bomb! i was actully her for halloween last year. ^.^;

heh, thanks! I wanted to get some green contacts, since her eyes are green, but my mom and dad wouldnt let me. meanies...It was HARD finding anything that looked like her outfit. I got pretty much everything, even a blow up guitar, but i couldnt find her boots. wish i had her vespa ^.^ that things kick ass! i have volume 1 of it so far. When you think about, they could easily fit all 6 onto one DVD. What genius thought of splitting 2 episodes to a DVD? @.@ If that stupid image dont show up, try copying and pasting it to another blank page. its a really cool pic of Haruko.
