when i went to vallco over the weekend and legends, there was this sample/variety manga from tokyopop that had samples of mangas not out yet or something.

yah, heard about that. i also saw the Tokyopop commercial. LOL conan is hillarious!

i think that tokyopop addie thing only advertised mangas made by their company and no other. it had ones that i really haven't heard of. i didn't get a good look, just flipped through it fast, few seconds and moved onto something else. sorry. it's all i know for now.

CLAMP? CLAMP's a manga-ka group. my fav at the moment would probably be between Yu Yu Hakusho and Inu Yasha. CLAMP titles also kick ass. Just finished CCSMOTC. The ending was soooo cute!

I like the "Wish" series done by CLAMP... although the ending could've been better 🙂

CLAMP isn't a comany like VIZ. Wish was good. the chibies were the best ^.^ the ending was sorta sad. they always have very cool and different endings, though some are just sad. CCS's ending is the best so far. ^.^ they just make such a great couple!

If Ozama Tazuka *sp?* is the "God of Manga," then CLAMP should be the "Four Goddess of Manga." ^.^ though they may have to battle it out with Rumiko Takahashi and Naoko Takeuchi. lol

i guess, in some ways, shonen jump can be viewed as not counting. for the mag is in america, shonen jump, and the mangas are redone by that company. the mangas arent' first edition anymore by the original companies.

Yes, true. But sometimes the originals get a cleaning and revamp and become better than the original, cleaner even, so you can read and see the comic's clearer.
