Moira MacTaggart she is the Doctor that found or helped find a cure to the legacy virus (sp). Mystique blows up her lab wounding her fatally, she then dies on the jet on her way to the mansion after sharing her knowledge with the Prof. The Prof almost dies with her because he doesnt want to let go but Cable and Jean force him to let go.
Because Cable left his body to help Jean get the Prof back he arrives back to late to save Senator Kelly.
