Nice, maybe, but GL has made ir pretty clear that the Han's, Chewies and Lando's of this Galaxy only had anything to do with the story much later down the line...

This sucks. I was half way to being a jedi knight, and now I have to start over!

Anyway, Chewie is said to be 200 years old at the time of ANH. Therefore, he is quite old enough to be in episode II or III, but it is doubtful that he will be there.

does anyone think chewbacca will be in episode 2 or 3

isnt he suppost to be about 400 years old or something i maybe wrong i usually am but im sure it says that on my behind the magic cd rom on the timeline

I think there's a slight possiblity that we might see a bit of Chewbacca, just because of his position in the wookiee world and GL might just give it to the fans.

He (Peter Mayhew) started a thread at another message board asking this same question. So if he dosent know (or wont tell if he does) then he wont be in it untill EP3, if then.

I would like to see him even if its just for a second. I'm not ready to see Han and Lando though. I cant picture it... But if GL has all these connections with Owen and Ani being half brothers and many other coincidences then anything can happen. 😮‍💨

It seems very likely. All the rumors point that way.

Besides that one, I meant the ones that were already in TPM. Like Ani made C-3P0 and R2-D2 was the Queens ship's droid. Stuff like that. GL has set the stage for a lot of things like that to come.

What insight do you have that would contridict that? I'm not sure myself till I see it on the screen. But there are way too many things that point twords that. I even think I heard him (Joel Edgerton) say that or it was quoted somewhere. But I'm not sure about it...

No problem at all, but they keep being quoted as fact.

I remember very well some of the total nonsense that was banded around about TPM shortly before it's release (Underwater battle...), and some of the nonsense that has already been droped for this film. Terms like Mandalorian are disappearing, and jut last month some people were swearing blind that they were in.

People still drop the hot news that Owen Lars is Obi-Wan's brother. You see the principle?

And the 'multiple sources' thing is no good- it is all the SAME source! It just gets picked up by mutiple people, and then everyone thinks they are getting multiple confirmation... when in the end it comes from one place and rarely do people bother to confirm.

Some of us here are more sceptical than others. Feel free to use any rumour you like, but just be careful. That one sounds plausible in many ways, and I have no immediate reaosn to doubt it other than the basic fact that ALL rumours are unreliable.

Ok, I was going by the folks that have seen the storyboards.

I am not one that thought the Mandalores were going to be in, that rumor like you said is just that, rumor.

As for that quote from Joel, he actualy said that he didnt know where that rumor came from. (Ani and Owen) But I take that as a red herring, I'll have to wait for more on that. So your right, so far its not substansiated. But I wouldn't be surprised.
