Its A Man! Its A Mouse! Its Both???
like the title?
Sorry 'bout that. Here's an article, though not the one I originally posted. Unfortunately the Chinese are being very secretive about this:

Scientists Create Embryo Using Human and Animal DNA(CBN News) — Chinese scientists have created the first embryo with both human and animal DNA.
The scientists took eggs from rabbits. Then they replaced nuclei in those rabbit eggs with genetic material from human beings.
The embryos contained mostly human DNA and only some rabbit genes. Some of the embryos continued to develop and were harvested for the resulting embryonic stem cells. Those cells show some promise for medical therapies.
No one knows what would have resulted if the hybrid embryos had been allowed to survive and been implanted in a womb.
Reportedly, there is a wide variety of opinion about the usefulness, and the ethics, of the new research.
