Who wins?

Sauron.

Sauron doesn't have valaryian steel or dragonglass so his melee weapons won't do shit to the Night King... fire doesn't work either as evidenced by him being able to walk through magical fire with zero effect on him; Night King was able to javelin a full grown Dragon and kill it from a very far distance EASILY

The more thought I put into this, the more of a mismatch against Sauron this is starting to seem tbh

The Lord of the Rings does have the One Ring, which was forged in the fiery heart of Mount Doom, so it stands to reason a single punch would be enough, as the Night King was one-shot by a nigh-midget girl.

Night King was one-shot by Arya using his literal weakness, a Valaryian Steel Dagger. While Sauron, even with the One Ring firmly on his finger, got all of his wigglies chopped off by a broken sword with no magical properties whatsoever.

Also, there's no evidence the ring would have any effect on Night King as he hasn't been human for like 1,000+ years.

I always assume these are on screen feats only as this is a movie vs forum so that being said Sauron has zero feats in any on screen version that can do anything to the Night King

sauron is nearly featless in the movies. sure he has a ring that can apparently control the minds of people who wear it, but like, if you don't put it on you're immune. sauron also doesn't have minions here and doesn't have prep to craft any exotic bullshit. he's f*cked.

if bro with a sword can cut off sauron's fingers to render him all but powerless, the night king can surely do the same. aside from that, nk would actually succeed at overtaking middle earth quite easily.

Sauron was sending fully armoured men and elves flying back 100 feet with casual swings of his mace, that's not a meh feat, that's a high level of physical strength feat.

And he was weakened when he stomped Gandalf.

that's a very good feat for movie gandalf, and sauron scales above that

but even if you multiply that feat several times over, it still pales in comparison to the sheer destructive force produced by drogon's dragonfire (which could laser through entire fleets of ships, massive fortified city walls, houses, castles, etc)

night king just stood there and completely no-sold it. combine that with nk having weaponry that can one-shot dragons from a great distance, and i really don't see how an argument could be made for movie only sauron?

Kinda helps how Sauron lost his physical form. Spear won't even touch him.

Night King is not the only one with the god mode hax here.
