Lek Kuen
The entire A-Wave restores itself to full force and resources and travels to the Warhammer 40k verse in hopes of conquest. Deciding it better to focus on one race at a time it begins to target the worlds of Mankind dropping billions of its foot soldiers to swarm the nearest humans planets as they begin their attack. Of course Mankind attacks back and an all out war begins.

An all out War scenario between Warhammer 40k's imperium of Man and Marvel's Annihilation wave. Imperium has a fully healed Emperor and the Annihilation wave is at it's peak with the Galactus gun and Thanos as it's strategist. Neither Army knows anything info on the other in advance and will only discover things as it goes on.
the ninjak
What were the official numbers of planets the humans colonized in 40K?
And how do they fight Annihilus and his Herald? And DAMMMMNNNN! You gave them the Galactus Gun and Thanos as well????
This is the most interesting fight I've seen on the AVF yet!
Nephthys
They'd probably need the Emperor himself to take out Annihilus. Nemebro said that my previous post about him is bullshit, so lets see if my estimation of him this time holds up to scutiny.

Aren't some of the space marines and pyskers crazy powerful themselves? Enough of them should be able to take him.
Nephthys
I'm not sure Annihilus would let himself be overwhelmed by them without backing himself up. Not with Thanos as his strategist.
Didn't Annihilus fight Silver Surfer at one point? Even if he lost, if he's around that level I don't think a few psykers are taking him on.
Lek Kuen
i don't actually know if he's fought surfer or not, I've never seen the scans but I don't follow either of them. My first time seeing Annihilus was in A-wave

If you read that, you'd get the impression he can take multi-star system destroying attacks, and punch planets to pieces.
The reality of the matter is that he was nearly strangled by an Ork Warboss.
However, what is true is that he is an enormously powerful telepath and soul rapist.
A psyker cyborg dude managed to telepathically control the populace of 1,300 systems, but the totality of his psychic power could only create a small disturbance in the light of the Astronomicon, which the Emperor's corpse generates psychic power for.
And he pushed the four Chaos Gods from Horus, or rather they fled so that they wouldn't face the soul-destroying pwnage the Emperor directed at Horus. Slaanesh, but one Chaos God, devoured the majority of the Eldar population's souls, which numbered in the tredecillions (Look up that number, it's huge). Slaanesh's and the others holds on Horus's soul weren't strong enough.
Lek Kuen
So he's only sky father in terms of telepathy and soul suck?
ArtificialGlory
The whole tredecillions of Eldar sounds like a great old crock of shit to me.

Something like a million or so (in other words, a lot more than the Marvel space powers). Though how many are in contact and such vary, they're spread out, etc..

So the writer has no feeling of scale and probably just picked a name of a random huge number without having a clue what that even entails.

The Eldar empire stretched across the entirety of the galaxy, has been around for millions of years and they were in the absolute prime of their life, with the capability of terraforming and colonizing dead planets.
It is entirely possible for their population to have been in that number. The galaxy is a big place dood.
Q99
Eh, they didn't really have enough worlds for that. They were mostly in the Eye, didn't terraform that many worlds (a fair number, but you don't trip on them), reproduced slowly, had rivals (always having to deal with Orks), and such.
Though they may have well had more than the IoM.
No, but he did fight Quasar and Nova Prime (when Nova was still inexperienced at that power level) at the same time.
Ravenous and his Seekers did fight several heralds, killing Airwalker, capturing Terrax, and such.
Lek Kuen
Who else is top tier in the IoP besides the Emperor?
XanatosForever
After the Emperor it has to be the Primarchs, his genetic offspring. I think they're direct clones, and hold a significant amount of power, though I'm unsure of specifics.
ScreamPaste
One crashed through the crust of a planet as a baby and crawled out of the hole, references are made to them physically smashing mountains and some are planetary+ level psykers.
I don't know much about what the IoM is against though, so I have no opinion either way.
FinalAnswer
Asides from primarchs, there are the unknown amount of Alpha Plus Psykers that are able to cut titans in half with a gesture.
And then there's Kaldor Draigo. He's an entirely different story though.

It's a big place, but it's not that big. Tredecillion is 10^42 and the Milky Way galaxy "only" has ~10^68 atoms in it. It's bogus.

The 40k Milky Way apparently has more atoms then that, sir. biscuits

Right... and there were supposed to be even more Orks than that, right?
XanatosForever
Then Orks are more believable due to their method of reproduction.
Nephthys
Yeah, I'd believe anything of Orks. Those things are insane.
From what I recall of Eldar they might have had so many people because they're crazy into sex and stuff.
XanatosForever
Yeah, they became very hedonistic due to Slaanesh's influence, which is why he was able to soul-jar most of them.
ares834
Was it? From my understanding, Slaanesh wasn't around then. In fact, it was the massive amount of hedonism that caused Slaanesh to be born at which point the Eldar were killed by his birth cries.

Not exactly more believable. There would literally be not enough matter in the entire galaxy to make that many Eldar and/or Orks.
Lek Kuen
I guess the 40k galaxy is just a shitload bigger. Only way to make sense of it

But 40K is set in the Milky Way galaxy. It's just way into the future.

You do realize we're discussing a setting that has a race that, because they believe painting it red will make it go faster, it does?
Or how we're led to believe, at the absolute very most, a million space marines are supposed to make a difference to an entire galaxy, and armies that number in the trillions?
Or how there is technology that is capable of causing any star in the galaxy to go super nova?
Or that there is a being that has a spear that contains the power of an entire sun?
Forget the advancement of math and science, for so much simply does not matter.
Forget the promise of logic and understanding, for in the grim darkness of the far future, there is only coolforce.

I know I mean that Milky Way just has to be bigger. Multiple sources say there is more matter then possible, so it just has to be alot larger. *shrug*

Quick question, is the tredecillion actually an official number or is it just heresay or a rumor?
NemeBro
The number was said by Ingethel, a Daemon Princess of Slaanesh, going over the history of the Eldar in Aurelian.

Maybe her brain was all ****ed out, you know, being a servant of Slaanesh.
