I'll be representing King Thor vs. these possible characters as a few suggestions: Superboy Prime, Hulk (any version), Monarch(countdown), Shazam, etc.

Not ringing any bells as far as Marvel guys go. If I took on Alan Scott I'd have to acquire come comics because while I do have a basic knowledge it's nowhere as deep enough as it should to be to battlezone against him. I'd still accept that challenge. That's a very intriguing matchup to me.

To me Sodam Yat as Ion would be simply destroyed even if he had the odinpower shut off again.

I don't do the battlezone thing because of time constraints, but if I had the time, and knew the character better, Mordru seems like he would match up well to King Thor.

Eh, I personally think KT would beat all of those guys, but the argument can be made for them (usually hinging around speed). Prime does have his whole "magic immunity" thing, but then again, so did Desak, who was outright absorbing godly energies instead of just being immune...and he got got at the end.

I to have felt the sting of losing many/many comics my disc drive for my tower won't open so which ever character I agree to go up against I will have to reacquire for the battlezone.

Surprised you aren't all over Rune King Thor, he seems exactly like the kind of character that you'd fall in love with. At least near the end there. Why say something so silly. Thanos is on another level than King Thor but that isn't a slight on King Thor.

Rune King Thor was pretty awesome but reigning King Thor has always been my fave. Stubborn as a mule just like myself and it took him over what like a hundred years to admit his mistake. The guy had battle scars and didn't take sh-t from anyone. Loki even fell in line with his rule.

The main reason King Thor was so unbalanced was because when Odin separated Jake Olson from him, he cut of what compromised the humane part of his soul. Thor still managed to overcome this, it just took a few centuries.

I liked that Thor -and Odin- kept their scars instead of just healing the wounds despite the inconvenience. Not like those pussy Olympians.

As a bystander, I think Rage vs Carver would be more appealing than Quan, partially because the latter option sounds like a headache - plus Quan's 'debating' style is going to get stale fast, and it'd be more appealing to see the contestants get switched out.

Looked through the Gladiator vs Thor battlezone and it appears as a regular thread...people just posting anything...no voters...nothing. Couldn't find a reasonable thread. I'll rather wait and see one instead of surfing through numerous of threads.

I think it's within Odin's capabilities. Jurgen's Odin spent like 90% of the time weakened but the f*cker was powerful. Tossing in Desak wouldn't close the supposedly very large gap between him and the armor.
