Who is the best sniper?

OK folks, here it is, a thread to determine once and for all who is the best movie sniper.

The snipers involved are as follows:

Agent 47 from "Hitman."

Thomas Beckett from "Sniper."

Wesley Gibson from "Wanted."

Bob Lee Swagger from "Shooter."

Vietnamese whore from "Full Metal Jacket."

Martin Riggs from "Lethal Weapon."

Ding Chavez from "Clear and Present Danger."

Rambo from......yeah.

Vassili Zaitsev from "Enemy at the Gates."

Major König "Enemy at the Gates."

Private Jackson from "Saving Private Ryan."

Isabelle from "Predators."

Each sniper is armed with a Remington 700 sniper rifle (.308 Winchester caliber.)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remington_700

Battle takes place in the city that was under siege in "Black Hawk Down."

Each sniper is given a full days prep to get the feel of their rifle, sight it in, camoflauge it and themselves, make ghillie suits, study their opponents past feats, etc......Basically a full day to prepare for battle. Each sniper is also issued a pair of hi-powered binoculars. Each sniper is given 20 bullets.

At dawn the following day, each sniper is dropped at varying locations throughout the city. Once they are dropped, the hunt is on.

Who walks away as the best sniper?

Cougar should be on here as well. But It's Wesley, he shot dude from across the city, and around people.

Well Wesley's father would be more to the point, especially based on the graphic novel rather than the film.

With a Remington 700?

No. with a far less capable gun.

Tell you what though. it's certainly not the chick from Predators. she had 1 difficult shot to make on the alien that was chasing the doctor and she missed.

I also find it highly amusing that you choose a rifle that Swagger just happens to use on several occasions in Shooter. Not that you're trying to get a certain outcome of course. much

Wesley from the graphic novel would rape anyone here with no effort whatsoever.

Shit, total mind fart there.....

OK, help me name a gun then?

Let's go with the Dragunov:

7.62mm caliber with a Leupold 6.5-20x50 Long Range scope.

Each sniper has two 10-round box magazines.

Better?

Not true. It was a variant of a Jezail rifle, as you said in another thread, but obviously extremely altered. It wasn't a musket. Also, the bullet used was custom made for longer flight time. 6 foot barrel ffs.

Well, I couldn't think of anyone else. Feel free to make a suggestion.

Charles Bronson's character in the Magnificent Seven.

Killed a dude with a six shooter hell far away.

As for the list the Wanted chaps were supernatural.

How about the fine handsome young Nazi chap from Inglorious Basterds?

Do movies within movies count as feats on this thread?

I say it was just propaganda! 😉

No, no and no.

Cross Gibson and/or Wesley Gibson

If we are talking versatility on a realistic battlefield, Bobby Lee Swagger

I wanna say Swagger, but I keep having flashbacks from "Enemy at the Gates" and "Sniper." Then you got Jackson.

Don't count Rambo out, his stealth is unparalleled.

Here, deleted scenes don't usually count, but I'm sure Matt will make an exception.

Then there's Ding Chavez.
