Realistically, Shaw should be able to take-out Dom without much trouble. Strength don't mean much if you get hit 3-4 times before you can even swing a punch... and Shaw isn't exactly a lightweight either.
Besides, remember that scene in the hospital where Shaw took out the entire hospital? I don't think Dom can do that even if he was so inclined to.
But of course Dom had to win, because he's the hero.
Shaw vs. Hobbs is the more evenly matched fight. And either of them should easily be able to take out Dom minus PIS.
You mean physically strongest? Hobbs military pressed guys through ceilings. Hobbs was stalemating Owen Shaw's huge henchman for a while in Fast 6. That same dude was ragdolling Dom til Hobbs showed up.
Shaw also had heavy weapons when he went to the hospital. He didn't h2h everybody there.
Dom and Hobbs both had trouble with that huge guy.
But Dom held a car up for a few minutes and caused an enormous parking structure to collapse with a stomp. He also one arm slung Shaw about 15 feet from an angle with almost no leverage iirc.
I think Dom and Hobbs are supposed to be portrayed as being close in terms of strength. Hobbs did move large pieces of reinforced concrete (which can weigh over a 1000lbs at the size of those chunks) with a supposedly "broken" arm. He also handled that minigun without any kind of problems with the same arm.
Hobbs has better durability feats though. Explosion + multi storey fall flattening a car, and sustained relatively minor injuries. Also drove an ambulance through a concrete barrier and crashed it into a drone flying below, causing the whole thing to go up in a ball of flames, only to emerge from the wreckage moments later, totally unscathed.
The fight I really wanted to see, but that we never got, was Hobbs vs Kiet (Jaa's character).

She also survived a car with a full tank of gas and a N02 tank exploding in her face and knocking her 40 feet through the air and down a steep hill with only temporary amnesia.
It was durable enough to crash through a few buildings and fall a good distance to the ground and still be in somewhat good shape. The armorimg probably made it heavy as ahit.
Yea it was a good feat, hard to tell if that was heavier then the beam Cap lifted while hurt. But we do know he lifted a bike with 3 people on it. If we put Dom in Cap's situations his superhuman abilities might not be up to the challenge.
