You only consider a brute force win, but Apoc can attack Astrally as well (and defend himself physically at the same time)...

Doomsday was more than that...

It had enough of a mind to know how to fight; when to use its ranged attack and how to identify targets to attack...

A mindless zombie just shuffles forward with its arms extended and cant do much else...Doomsday was far more than that.

Crushing Doomsdays mind is the easiest option for round 1...
